I am a consultant plastic surgeon specialising in the treatment of conditions affecting the hand and wrist.

After qualifying as a doctor in 2001, having studied at Cambridge University and Imperial College School of Medicine in London, I completed an approved national training programme in Plastic Surgery (Oxford, Stoke Mandeville and Salisbury).
Having passed the Royal College of Surgeons exit examination in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast) in 2013, I undertook further fellowship training in microsurgery and limb reconstruction in Bristol and gained advanced training in hand and wrist surgery through a nationally appointed hand fellowship undertaken in Oxford.
I was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Hand Surgery (Dip Hand Surg) in 2014 after completing a validated period of dedicated hand surgery training, a validated programme of study, course work and a final rigorous examination.

I was appointed as a Consultant at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2014. My specialist interests are trauma, hand surgery and limb reconstruction.

I have published scientific articles in the field of hand surgery and limb reconstruction and contributed chapters to the Oxford Specialist Handbook of Hand Surgery. I have an active role in medical education and training.

Outside of work, I maintain an interest in rugby and athletics having competed at university level as a student. I am keen on fitness particularly swimming, cycling and running and try to compete regularly in various 10k, half and full marathons and triathlon events.
